We visited Amber and Dave of FoAM Kernow in their studio.
Apart from being the facilitators of our residency at Eden Project, “FoAM is a network of transdisciplinary labs at the intersection of art, science, nature and everyday life.” [FoAM website]
With their multitude of activities between art and science, FoAM (Kernow) encourages to “grow your own worlds [in order to] cultivate an ecology of practices to re-imagine possible futures, create concrete situations in the present, incite discussion, and suggest alternatives.”
Dave and Amber have set up a neat studio space in the Jubilee Warehouse a EU-funded sustainable building complex with open spaces for startups and art communities.
We are looking forward to September 19th: at the International FoAM Open Studio, for the first time, all the FoAM studios are coming together in a joint open studio event in Kernow, Cornwall, UK.
